In these unprecedented times due to the spread of COVID-19, restaurants are among some of the hardest hit businesses. What you can do to make sure that your favorite eateries are still there to serve you after the situation returns back to what “we once knew as normal” is to order take-out and delivery and buy gift cards for future use.
If you’re living in “our city,” Kalamazoo Downtown Partnership is keeping an updated list of what is open in Kalamazoo to serve you. The organization has also worked with the City of Kalamazoo and City Center Parking to reserve parking spaces near downtown restaurants to support curbside delivery. Open Table currently has a terrific campaign going on too to amplify your efforts and Uber Eats is offering free food delivery for local independent restaurants.
