What is the best lesson you learned from your classes, an internship, an instructor, or a mentor?

To never give up no matter how hard or stressful life and work may get.

What is the strongest skill you bring to an employer?

The strongest skill I can bring to an employer is being able to work collaboratively in groups and being thorough and transparent in any work I am doing.

What type of project or industry interests you?

The industry that interests me the most is airline design and soft goods that better one’s everyday life.

What project in your portfolio are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my project Woef, a weighted dog harness for dogs with anxiety. I am proud of this project due to the extensive amount of research backing the concept.

What/who is one person, place, or experience that had a positive impact on you during your time at Western Michigan University or in the Kalamazoo community?

The most positively impactful place in Kalamazoo during my time at WMU would be the nursing home I work at. Every day I bring joy to people who suffer from memory loss, and even though they may not remember me tomorrow, I leave work every day knowing that I made their day better today.
