Small & Mighty Business Series: The Business Owner’s Trap

Running a business can leave you feeling like everything depends on you.
If you’re carrying too much of the load, struggling to gain traction or wondering how to break through to the next level, join the Southwest Michigan First Chamber on Thursday, October 29, for a practical one-hour session focused on helping business owners step out of the day-to-day and strengthen the way their business runs.
The session will be led by Josh Baird, owner of Next Level Sports Center.
During the session, Josh will introduce you to the Six Key Components™ of a successful business and several simple, practical concepts and tools that leadership teams can begin applying right away.
You’ll explore ways to:
- Create greater clarity around where your business is going
- Build stronger accountability across your leadership team
- Identify the issues keeping your business stuck
- Gain traction on the priorities that matter most
- Create a healthier, more effective way to run the business
Whether you feel stretched too thin, find yourself constantly solving the same problems or simply want your business to operate more effectively, this session will offer practical ideas you can take back to your team and put to work.
The event will take place from noon–1:00 p.m. at the Village of Vicksburg Municipality Building, 126 N. Kalamazoo St., Vicksburg, MI 49097.
The Small & Mighty Business Series is part of the Chamber Education Series. The Chamber Education Series also includes the Quarterly Business Breakfast Roundtable Series and is proudly supported by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
