Circa Creative Studios, a design and branding provider, announced today its promotion of Staci Gibson to marketing director and Derek Brouwer to art director. Both will be leading the Kalamazoo studio.

Gibson brings almost ten years of customer relationship management (CRM) and email marketing expertise to Circa. Prior to Circa, Gibson served for brands such as Kellogg’s, MorningStar Farms, and Unilever. She will be delivering omnichannel marketing strategies to Circa’s clients.

Brouwer brings a wealth of digital experience and design leadership to Circa, having worked on many brands such as Ford, Lowe’s, and Bell’s Brewing. He is especially passionate about Circa’s fellowship program and serving as a great mentor for new creatives.

Circa was founded by female co-owners – Laura Deleot, COO, and Tori Thomas, CEO. It has seen tremendous growth since its start five years ago in all areas of service. In addition to Kalamazoo, the company has studios in Nashville, New York, and, most recently, Greenville, SC. Its growth has been propelled by the demand for superior design for organizations to stand out in a reshaped economy.

“Staci and Derek have been incredibly valuable to Circa’s growth,” said Deleot. “Intentional design that delivers results is more important than ever for a business to succeed within its industry and community. Staci and Derek bring national expertise that adds not only to our growth but also to the success of our clients.”

“We chose Kalamazoo because of its values. It’s a community dedicated to growth through education, commerce, and policy. As a studio dedicated to our local communities, we are thrilled about Staci and Derek’s new roles, and their insight and passion for Southwest Michigan,” said Thomas.
