What is the best lesson you learned from your classes, an internship, an instructor, or a mentor?

The best lesson I have learned from multiple instructors, mentors, and guest speakers is that getting to where you want to be is not a straight path, but more like a zigzagged line. Stop trying to speed up time and enjoy the journey.

What is the strongest skill you bring to an employer?

My strongest skill I would bring to my employer would be getting to know company’s consumers thoroughly, by using my ability to connect, listen, and understand others.

What type of project or industry interests you?

I am interested in many areas but my top three would be Functional Fashion, the Beauty Industry, and the Wellness Industry.

What project in your portfolio are you most proud of?

I am the most proud of my housewares project because it has every step of the project from beginning to end.

What/who is one person, place, or experience that had a positive impact on you during your time at Western Michigan University or in the Kalamazoo community?

My classmates have made a very positive impact on me, they are a group of people that would be there for each other not only for educational purposes but for anything in general. I am happy to have a group of people who not only understand each other, but have also grown to care for each other.
