I am most proud of my “Nixon Retail Scanner” project. What/who is one person, place, or experience that had a positive impact on you during your time at Western Michigan University or in the Kalamazoo community?
I had a recent connection with WMU Graphic design Alumni, John Kepenga, a freelance designer of 15+ years. Since we’ve met, we have gone through my product design and client based portfolios. The feedback and insight from a professional with such an extensive background with common interest has been very beneficial to my outlook as I approach graduation. John has been kind enough to open his network with me, putting me in contact with potential future employers and clients.
