How does it work?  

Job Postings cost $150. Postings are live on our website for 60 days, appear four (4) consecutive weeks in FIRST & 42, and receive one (1) social media shout-out.

Job postings appear in our weekday issue published on Mondays. From the time of your submittal, please expect your placement to be at least seven (7) days in the future, unless you indicate a later date.

Job Postings must be appropriate for our audience. Job Postings may not be hurtful to anyone. Job Postings must be federally legal. Yes, those three musts still leave some businesses caught in shades of gray. We agree: We are in complicated and changing times—a time when the “rules” are always changing.  If we cannot serve your request to the best of our ability, we will refund your money.

What is the cost of a Job Post?

How long will it take for my job to appear on the Job Board after I submit?

Job postings appear in our weekday issue published on Mondays. From the time of your submittal, please expect your placement to be at least seven (7) days in the future, unless you indicate a later date. You provide the content, we control the schedule.

Will I get a receipt?

Yes. After you submit your job post, you will receive a confirmation email with your receipt.

How long will my job be on the Job Board?

Jobs are live on the board for 60 days. If you would like to extend your post beyond the 60 days, you can contact Kim for details on how to do so.

Where will my job be featured?

Jobs are featured on our Job Board and four (4) consecutive times in our Monday newsletter. In addition, we will mention your post one (1) time on our social media channel.

What kinds of things should I include in the job description?

The best Job Posts have a description of your company, a blurb about your company culture and a clear list of responsibilities and qualifications. Other points that help a Job Post perform better are information about compensation and benefits.

What if my Job Posting is not considered appropriate for the audience?

Job Postings must be appropriate for our audience. Job Postings may not be hurtful to anyone. Job Postings must be federally legal. We agree: We are in complicated and changing times—a time when the "rules" are always changing.  If we cannot serve your request to the best of our ability, we will respectfully refund your money. Please be respectful in return when we do.

Can I link my Job Post out to another site?

Yes. In the submission form, under “How to Apply” you can provide a link for your Job Post to link out to if you prefer candidates to apply through your site.

Is there a bundle package available for posting multiple jobs?

Yes. Contact Kim for details.

What do I do if my job gets filled before it expires?

Email Kim for your post to be taken down.

Can I make edits to my Job Post after I submit?

Yes. Email Kim with any changes.
