The Village Manager is responsible for the efficient administration of all affairs of the Village and the supervision of departments, including the Police Department, Department of Public Works, and Clerk/Treasurer. The position also serves as the zoning administrator and staff liaison to the Planning Commission.

Desired Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
-
Municipal government experience, with roles such as city/village manager, assistant manager, or equivalent
-
Strong knowledge of budgeting, finance, planning and zoning, human resources, and intergovernmental relations
-
BS&A software experience preferred
-
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

A history of civic involvement and community engagement

Grant writing and analysis capabilities
