Alternatives of Kalamazoo is seeking a Corporate Clinic Director that will report directly to the executive director. This is a full-time position with a salary range between $45,000-$50,000 based on credentials. Apply by sending your resume and cover letter to the Executive Director Cathy Stone.


Required Skills and Abilities 

  • Administration, management, vision casting, and interpersonal and communication skills
  • Developing and expanding the outreach of clinical service, the position works in conjunction with the corporate staff to develop and implement the mission and vision of Alternatives
  • Experienced LPN or RN currently licensed in the state of Michigan
  • On the job nursing experience in clinical and administration
  • Knowledge regarding sexually transmitted infection, fetal development, and pregnancy
  • Office management skills
  • Good reputation in the medical community
  • SRA certification (to be obtained within one year from hire date) Administration



  • Meet regularly with the executive director, corporate directors, center directors, program team, and clinic coordinators (requires travel)
  • Provide oversight to the medical advisory committee
  • Assure accurate filing and compiling of client reports
  • Attend conferences and seminars as directed by the executive director
  • Gather and compile a monthly report for the executive director and board of directors
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date personnel files for all program employees and volunteers
  • Perform yearly review for clinic coordinators in all locations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the executive director
  • Work with clinic coordinators to assure volunteer appreciation throughout the year
  • Oversee and ensure the quality of all volunteer activities for all locations
  • Ensure that each program is functioning in line with the mission and vision of the Alternatives
  • Focus on establishing community connections for the development of Alternative’s services
  • Provide direction to individual site clinic coordinator regarding community connections
  • Provide direction and work with clinic coordinators in each location for quarterly, in-service training
  • Perform biyearly assessment of clinic coordinator in all locations


  • Assist clinic coordinator in yearly reviews of all of the volunteer advisors, nurses, and sonographers
  • Oversee operations of STI clinic, medical staff, and ultrasound outreach
  • Work with the director of education to provide direction and oversite for online classes
  • Assist the clinic coordinator as needed with volunteer training and in interventions with clients
  • Assure medical licensing is up to date for all clinic coordinators and medical director
  • Oversee, design, and develop client services paperwork, policies, and procedures as they relate to the general clinic and best practices of the State of Michigan and Alternatives for ultrasound, STI clinic, and pregnancy tests
  • Oversee implementation of new initiatives and program expansions in conjunction with the executive director and medical advisory committee
  • Yearly review of clinic policies and procedures, and ultrasound and STI policies and procedures, consulting with the executive director, medical director, and medical advisory committee
