SUMMARY:Pins not Putts | 3rd Annual Chamber Bowling Classic
DESCRIPTION:The Southwest Michigan First Chamber invites you to our third annual fundraiser—a portion of the proceeds will benefit a nonprofit partner.\n\n\nIntroducing the Pins not Putts 3rd Annual Chamber Bowling Classic! \nThe Southwest Michigan First Chamber is excited to bring back this unique event where we can “strike” up a little friendly competition—and where the winning team’s nonprofit partner is the real winner. Each registered team will select a nonprofit partner\, and the winning team will direct a portion of the proceeds to that nonprofit. This summer’s returning FUNdraiser is Pins not Putts! \nHow it works: \n\nRegistered bowlers will get a nametag\, a drink ticket\, and access to a lunch buffet upon arrival. Three bowling games\, shoes\, and a bowling ball (if needed) are included.\nTeams are randomly assigned to a lane with another team for a little friendly competition. This will be your spot for the duration of the event. It’s a great time to get to know the other team!\nThe games will all be Nine Pin No-Tap. That means if you knock down nine pins on your first roll\, it counts as a strike. That should make things a little more fun!\nTeams will be ranked based on their total team score after Game 1. There will also be a variety of prizes throughout for Most Strikes\, Most Spares\, Highest Score\, and Lowest Score.\nTeams will once again be ranked after Game 2. The top four highest-scoring teams will then each be assigned a handicap to level the playing field for Game 3.\nThe first place team at the end of Game 3\, including the handicap\, will be the winner. That team’s nonprofit partner will be awarded an amazing trophy\, and more importantly\, a donation to the nonprofit partner of their choice.\nSecond and third place will receive honorable mention trophies. All other teams will be ranked and listed by final score.\n\nBut what if I’m not a great bowler? Can I still win fabulous prizes? ABSOLUTELY!! \n\nOther ways to win prizes include: Most Strikes\, Most Spares\, and even one for Lowest Score.\nPLUS\, take part in our Strike-a-Thon! Each team designates one bowler who’ll get one shot to bowl a strike. Get a strike and move on. Who will be the last one standing?\nBowling BINGO! Knock down only one pin on the first ball\, bowl a strike with your non-dominant hand\, pick up any split\, get a turkey as a team\, and more. Win a BINGO\, win a prize!\nPink Pin POKER! Each lane will have one pink pin in the mix. If you get a strike when the pink pin is the head pin\, you earn a playing card for your team. Best POKER hand at the end wins!\nAll this and more!\n\nNote: Early bird registration ends June 1. The final deadline to register is Friday\, July 10 while space is available. \nProgram Agenda: \n\n11 a.m. to 12 noon | Registration and Lunch\n12 noon to 4 p.m. | Bowling\n4 to 5 p.m. | Award Ceremony and Happy Hour\n\nRegistration and lunch begin at 11 a.m. Game 1 begins at 12 noon. The Award Ceremony begins at the end of Game 3 (approximately 4 p.m). Then\, we invite you to join us afterward to celebrate (or commiserate!) until 5 p.m. \nWant to get your company in the swag bag or donate a prize pack? Email us today at chamber@southwestmichiganfirst.com. \nSee you on the lanes! \nPlease note: All ticket sales are final. Should you be unable to attend\, we offer the opportunity to transfer your ticket to a fellow team member or partner organization. Please contact a member of our team to transfer your ticket\, if necessary. Eventbrite charges a nominal fee for tickets purchased online.
