Todd Sanford, CEO and president of Sanford Advisory and Todd Mora, program manager for the Sanford Center for Financial Planning and Wellness at the Haworth College of Business, will be the next speakers in the Entrepreneurship Forum speaker series, sponsored by BlueOx Credit Union. The presentation will be held on Friday, November 20 at 8 a.m. Your health and safety are WMU’s top priority. Entrepreneurship Forum is a monthly series sponsored by BlueOx Credit Union and hosted by Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business. The forum brings stories of entrepreneurs and startup success to the greater Kalamazoo community.

Meet Todd:

Todd Sanford is the CEO and president of Sanford Advisory, a full-service, fee-based consulting firm, which takes a holistic approach to assist its clients in achieving financial security. The firm focuses on comprehensive financial planning, corporate retirement plans, and intergenerational wealth management.

Sanford has been honored as a top advisor by Barron’s, the Financial Times, and Forbes. He has also been recognized as a Top 10 Financial Advisor at Raymond James for more than a decade, out of more than 8,100 advisors.

In 2018, a multi-million dollar gift by Sanford established the Sanford Center for Financial Planning and Wellness in WMU’s Haworth College of Business, which serves students and community members in a variety of ways.

Sanford will be joined by Todd Mora, program manager of the Sanford Center for Financial Planning and Wellness, located in the Haworth College of Business. The center focuses on promoting and enhancing financial wellness, planning, and literacy for both students and the community.

Mora joined the center in 2019. Prior to taking the helm, he served as the chief financial officer for Benton Harbor Area Schools and as superintendent of Comstock Public Schools. Mora’s areas of expertise include budget management, long-term financial planning, leadership, and personnel management.
